Our goal at MyAreaTrader is to provide you with a safe experience to place calssified ads in your area. You can buy and sell items in your local area, where you can arrange a time and place to meet and see the item that you are purchasing. This allows the buyer and seller to negotiate a deal before the actual purchase is made. Seller's can sell for the lowest price they wish to sell for and buyers can get the bargain they are looking for.

This allows businesses to purchase advertisements that will be seen in their local area. A first for the Internet community. Low cost advertising, so everyone wins.

Be cautious when accepting checks. Especially from foreign countries. Checks can bounce and your bank may charge you a fee for the bad check. Even Cashier's checks are not entirely without risk. Do business locally, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Creating a new user account

To place a classified ad with MyAreaTrader, you need to create a user account, so that we can display your contact information with the ad. This also allows buyers to know that you have been with us for a while

Listing a new classified ad - When listing a new classified ad with MyAreaTrader, you need to understand the way the buyer will find your ad and what they will see. Select the proper category so that your ad can be easily found. Some people browse by category looking for the newly listed ads. This way they get the jump on the good deals.

Edit/Delete classified ad - You can edit or delete your ads. Simply press the Edit or Delete button next to your ad in the Edit/Delete window.

Updating your user profile - When updating your profile, be sure to use the correct email address and phone number, or they won't be able to contact you.
